  • About Us

We're on a mission to empower and inspire diverse young women to embrace their purpose as they transition from college to professional careers. Our strategic focus is to provide mentorship, community and financial resources to women ages 17-25 years pursuing careers in beauty, communications, fashion, journalism, marketing, and social media.

    What Is It?

Created to empower and inspire brown girls everywhere, BrownGirlsLove started off as a digital & live events community with the goal of providing resources, inspiration and empowerment to budding young professionals. Since 2015, our annual Power Day summit has featured workshops, panel discussions and fireside conversations about career planning, self-care and more from powerful women of color who have mastered the art of building a brand and conquering their careers. And since we launched our inaugural BGL College Ambassador program, we've seen hundreds of young women successfully transition into professional careers and entrepreneurship.

    Who Is It For?

Our organization supports freshmen through seniors in college, recent college grads and young women ages 17-25 transitioning into professional careers or entrepreneurship. Our community includes seasoned professionals as well as startup founders - all passionate women of color pursuing what they love.

    How Can I Get Involved?

At BrownGirlsLove, we're always looking to partner with individuals and organizations that share our mission. Interested in supporting us with a donation? Speaking at an upcoming event? Do you work for a company looking to partner with us and support our work? Reach out to us at contact@browngirlslove.org
